Engineering motion for the industries that cannot afford failure

Manufakture's Roller Screw Division is a precision manufacturer of planetary roller screws, serving aerospace, defence, robotics and automation from our base in India.

Company overview

We specialise in a single mechanism done exceptionally well: the planetary roller screw. By concentrating on roller-screw design and manufacture rather than a broad catalogue, we build deep process knowledge into every screw — from raw bar to inspected assembly.

Our screws convert rotary motion into high-thrust linear force with the load capacity, stiffness and service life that demanding sectors require. We supply screws, nuts and complete units, in standard configurations and fully bespoke designs sized to a customer's duty profile.

History

The division was founded to bring roller-screw manufacturing capability closer to the fast-growing aerospace, defence and automation base in India, reducing lead times and import dependence for a component that is critical yet historically hard to source locally.

Since then we have invested steadily in precision grinding, metrology and materials capability, and in the engineering team that sizes and validates each screw against its application.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing is kept under one roof so we control the variables that determine roller-screw performance:

  • Turning and milling of screw shafts, nuts and roller blanks from certified alloy steel.
  • Thread grinding of screw and roller profiles to tight pitch and form tolerances.
  • Heat treatment for surface hardness and core toughness under cyclic load.
  • Assembly and phasing of roller sets with the toothed synchronising rings.
  • Dimensional and functional inspection before despatch.

Research & development

Our R&D work focuses on load-life modelling, lead accuracy, friction and lubrication, and application-specific designs — for example sealed screws for harsh environments, or low-backlash configurations for precision positioning. We work directly with customer engineering teams during design-in.

Quality & certifications

Quality is built into the process, not inspected in at the end. Each screw is traceable to material batch and verified against its specification. Our quality management follows ISO 9001 principles, with certification details and material certificates available on request.

  • Material traceability and inspection certificates.
  • Dimensional verification against customer drawings.
  • Functional checks for lead accuracy, backlash and smoothness.

Certification badges and numbers to be inserted once finalised.
